FOR U.S.A. RESIDENTS ONLY
* Note: Getting a EIN, also known as TIN is completely optional for our program and is not required. If you would like to obtain an EIN/TIN, then simply follow the instructions we provide on this page.
* Note: If you already have an EIN/TIN from IRS, you can use that for this business, so you won’t need to apply for another.
When dealing with working from home, you are going to have to deal with paying taxes. Most of the jobs you will be doing will not deduct taxes from your checks. These companies will report your earnings at the end of the year by way of 1099 reporting.
It will be your responsibility to claim your earnings on next years tax return. We will suggest to speak with a tax professional to find out all the benefits of write offs and tax credits for being a work-from-home entrepreneur.
When filling out your tax information to the companies you will be doing work for we will suggest to protect your personal information such as Social Security Number, and the best way to do this, is to obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN), also referred to as a Tax Identification Number (TIN).
Applying For EIN/TIN
To get an EIN will protect you from having to put your SSN into any of the job sources that are offered. Although all of the sources we deal with our 100% secure and safe, if you have an EIN it will give you extra protection of your SSN.
Also some of the companies we will have you do work will require you to have an EIN when your earnings reach $500. You can wait until you reach that mark, or apply for one now.
We will provide the direct link below to apply for an EIN, safely and directly through the IRS.
Application is approved directly after you apply online. Sometimes you may need to wait a few minutes to process after completion of application.
Two Ways to Apply
There are TWO ways to apply for an EIN:
1. Electronically Online
OR
2. Manually by Mail/Fax.
We suggest to do this by the Electronic Online method if possible as it will give you your EIN instantly after sign up. * Note: Both methods we show are done directly through the IRS. Know one but you and the IRS will be involved with this process.
Hours to Apply: This online application for EIN is available through the IRS during certain hours of the day — Also the IRS only processes a certain amount of EIN’s per day. So if you click the link below and it is not available try back a little later.

If the taxpayer’s fax number is provided, a fax will be sent back with the EIN within four (4) business days.
Apply By Mail The processing time frame for an EIN application received by mail is four weeks. Ensure that the Form SS-4 (PDF) contains all of the required information.
